As one of America's top 100 ballet companies, Ballet Arkansas brings this beloved holiday tradition to life with stunning choreography, enchanting music, and dazzling costumes and sets. This year, experience the magic like never before as Ballet Arkansas unveils exciting updates to costumes as part of the second year of the Nutcracker Project, promising a fresh and unforgettable holiday spectacle for audiences of all ages. Set to Felix Mendelssohn's beloved score this condensed telling of William Shakespeare's timeless tale of love and mischief takes place amidst the ethereal backdrop of an enchanted forest on a magical summer's night. This production brings together a community cast of dancers to weave a tapestry of romance, comedy, and magic. From the mischievous antics of the fairy realm to the tangled love affairs of mortal lovers, each act unfolds with grace and charm. Features a community cast of performers.
