GABRIELLE CONFER, DIRECTOR OF FINANCE AND ENGAGEMENT

Gabrielle Confer serves as the Director of Finance & Engagement at Ballet Arkansas, where she combines her background in dance, arts administration, fundraising, and community engagement to support the organization’s mission and growth. In her role, she oversees financial operations and development initiatives while cultivating relationships with donors, board members, community partners, and audiences.

A lifelong advocate for the arts, Gabrielle holds an MA in Arts, Entertainment, and Media Management from Columbia College Chicago and a BFA in Dance Performance from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. Her professional experience spans nonprofit development, event production, arts administration, and dance and musical theatre performance, giving her a unique perspective on both the artistic and organizational sides of the arts.

Before joining Ballet Arkansas, Gabrielle worked and volunteered in development and fundraising for nonprofit organizations, where her passion for inclusion and accessibility grew. She also gained experience in arts administration with The Joffrey Ballet and Mark Morris Dance Group.

Gabrielle brings an artistic background spanning dance, musical theatre, film, and educational settings to her work in arts administration. Her experience as an artist has shaped her passion for connecting audiences, artists, and communities through the arts.

Gabrielle is passionate about making the arts accessible, meaningful, and welcoming to people of all ages and backgrounds. She is particularly excited by opportunities to connect Ballet Arkansas with new audiences and strengthen the organization’s role as a vibrant part of Arkansas’s cultural community.
