Debut Works by Next-Gen Choreographers

FREE TO THE PUBLIC

"Bold New Moves - Debut Works by Next-Gen Choreographers" will be presented on the Ballet Arkansas  John & Robyn Horn Stage in North Little Rock’s Argenta Plaza. Attendees will be enticed by a series of world premieres set to music from both up-and-coming and established Arkansas recording artists and others. This unique event will feature a Q&A format, providing audiences with an exclusive opportunity to gain insight into the creative process straight from the minds behind the choreography. Libations and culinary delights from local food trucks (Grampa's Catfish & Top Dog Catering) will add an extra layer of excitement to this already exhilarating experience. A portion of the proceeds at each food truck supports Ballet Arkansas!

Experience a world premiere tale of passion and betrayal at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts as Ballet Arkansas presents "Carmen," set to Bizet’s masterpiece score, further adapted for ballet by Shchedrin. Patrons will immerse themselves in the fiery drama and captivating melodies of this ‘heated’ neoclassical narrative, celebrated the world over - with interludes provided by acclaimed vocalist, Sarah Dailey. Be among the first to witness this groundbreaking, modern-art infused production unfold at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, just in time for Halloween.

This year, experience the magic like never before as Ballet Arkansas unveils exciting updates to costumes as part of the second year of the Nutcracker Project, promising a fresh and unforgettable holiday spectacle for audiences of all ages. Don't forget to stop by the Nutcracker Boutique featuring orders from "Sweets by Sugarplum," and Santa's Photo Booth to take a piece of the production home with you! The “Land of the Sweets Nutcracker Tea” is one of Little Rock’s most anticipated holiday events.
