Sunday, February 2nd, 2020 at Ballet Arkansas, 520 Main Street, Little Rock, AR 72201
Age 14-21, 1:00 - 2:30 pm *Register at 12:30 pm
Age 10-13, 3:00 - 4:30 pm *Register at 2:30 pm
$20 Non-refundable audition fee
All dancers are required to have at least four years of dance training to audition. Ballet Arkansas' Summer Intensive is an Intermediate - Advanced level program.
All dancers ages 13 and up are required to have been enrolled in a Pointe class since the Fall of 2019. Pointe work is not required for dancers ages 10-12.
Auditions determine acceptance into the 2020 Summer Intensive. All dancers will take a placement classes on the first day of the Intensive to determine their level.
Register between January 1st and February 1st, 2020.
Video Audition Submission Guidelines

Recommended Class Work:
1. Barre Work - Plies, Tendu & Degage, Rond de Jambe a Terre & Fondu, Grand Battement
2. Center Work - Adagio, Pirouettes, Petit Allegro, Grand Allegro, Tours en lair (Gentlemen)
3. Pointe Combinations - Two combinations en Pointe, reflecting the level of the dancer (Women on pointe)
4. Classical or Contemporary Variation (Optional)

1. What happens after the video submission?
The Ballet Arkansas Artistic Team will review each dancer's audition materials before determining their acceptance into the Ballet Arkansas 2020 Summer Intensive. Ballet Arkansas will contact all dancers within two weeks of the audition to inform them of our decision.
