Our Audition Process

Dancers are encouraged to approach the audition process with an open mind, and free from expectation of outcomes. Ballet Arkansas will make every effort to make the audition process a positive experience for each dancer.  The audition process is completed by the Artistic Staff of Ballet Arkansas, and is based upon the following variables:

• The artistic and technical performance of each dancer within their audition class**

• The number of costumes in the Ballet Arkansas inventory and the availability of sizes

• Age and/or maturity

• Years of dance training

• Dancer's availability for assigned rehearsals, fittings, and performances**

Auditioning for the production does not guarantee your dancer a role in the production. All participants must be able to enter the studio unaccompanied for their audition on audition day.  Please review the information packet for additional information regarding Ballet Arkansas Nutcracker Spectacular policies.
