Important message from the Leadership of Ballet Arkansas:
The health and safety of our community is of paramount importance to Ballet Arkansas. For this reason, we have made the very difficult decision to postpone our April performances of Master/Works to a future date within our 20/21 season.
Rehearsing daily for many weeks, our 15 professional dancers have poured their hearts into bringing these masterpieces of classical and contemporary dance to life. We look forward to the day that the talents, passion, and dedication of our dancers may continue to delight audiences of all ages. Those who have purchased tickets to Master/Works will he contacted by our box office to discuss the available ticketing options.
Unfortunately, we could not possibly have predicted that the circumstances now at play would lead to the cancellation of our final performances of the 2019/20 season. While the show will go on in 20/21, your support makes a difference today! If BA has touched your life, or the life of someone you love, please consider donating the cost of a ticket, or of an amount close to your heart. Together, we will get past this and Ballet Arkansas will continue to bring joy, inspiration, education, and enrichment to many.
We would like to thank Alice Klock and Florian Lochner of FLOCK, Yoshito Sakuraba of Abarukas, Fei Fei Dong, Charthell Estner of the Arpino Foundation, and Michele Gifford of the George Balanchine Trust. Through the talents and support of these individuals and organizations, we were able to present a dynamic mixed repertory program. A special thanks to our valued partner, the Stella Boyle Smith Trust, for providing the support necessary to bring our dream of Master/Works to life.
Thank you for your support and understanding during these uncertain times. From our family to yours, please take care of yourself and each other.
With lots of love,
Michael & Catherine Fothergill
