Lauren started dancing at the age four with Dance Arts of Chelsea in Chelsea, Michigan. She later began performing with Ballet Chelsea, under the direction of Wendi DuBois. Lauren was a member of their Professional Training Program and was involved in numerous Ballet Chelsea productions and community outreach events. Additionally, she was chosen to perform in an ensemble for three years at Michigan Youth Arts Festival.
Since 2017, Lauren has been a trainee with Grand Rapids Ballet, under the direction of James Sofranko and Patricia Barker. During her time in Grand Rapids, Lauren worked with many choreographers including Val Caniparoli, Penny Saunders, Brian Enos, Attila Mosolygo, Nigel Tau, and Olivier Wevers.
Lauren has furthered her training by attending summer programs at Pacific Northwest Ballet, San Francisco Ballet, and Cecchetti Council of America. She also attended Ballet West’s Choreographic Workshop where she worked with choreographer Quinn Wharton.
"As this is my first season with Ballet Arkansas, I’m looking forward to working among a new group of artistic staff and dancers. I’m also eager to work on the story ballet’s in the upcoming season, specifically Sleepy Hallow and Snow White."
