To request a company class audition, submit your audition materials by clicking the link above. Please include your first and last name in the subject line followed by "Audition" and attach copies of your resume and photos to the email. **There is no fee to audition for Ballet Arkansas.

Required Audition Materials

  • Head shot and dance photos 

  • Current Resume including age, height, and employment history

  • Links to video of class and/or performance of classical and contemporary work

​As part of the review process, Ballet Arkansas may request additional information or invite candidates to attend an in-person or digital company class. Company classes run M-F between the hours of 9:00 - 10:30 am CST, by invitation. 

INTERN + GAIN VALUABLE EXPERIENCE

Ballet Arkansas is one of the Top 100 Ballet Companies in America and one of the largest non-union contract employers in the arts in the state. Producing an annual season comprised of the classics, masterworks of American dance, and cutting-edge works by the world's most daring dancemakers, the organization's world-class productions and education programs reach nearly 50,000 per year. 1) Nonprofit Business Administration - organizational management, leadership, negotiation, contracting, human resources, development of partnerships, strategic planning, board development 
2) Finance - accounting, record keeping, budget creation and reconciliation 
3) Social Media Management - content creation, analytics, platform optimization, web development    
4) Fundraising - business communication and public speaking, writing of grants and proposals, solicitation 
5) Production - lighting design, sound design, videography, stagecraft, stage management
6) Photography - institutional and programmatic content creation
