Deanna Stanton began dancing in her hometown of Clarksville, Maryland. She credits her early training to her time spent at the Baltimore School for the Arts. Since joining Ballet Arkansas, she has had the opportunity to perform principal or featured roles in Balanchine’s Who Cares?, Gerald Arpino’s Birthday Variations, Val Caniparoli’s Lady of the Camellias, Kenneth MacMillan's Romeo & Juliet, Chris Stuart’s Under the Lights and Michael Fothergill's Dracula, Cinderella, Sleepy Hollow & The Nutcracker.
In addition to performing, Deanna has a passion for choreographing.
