Arts in Education Program Ballet Arkansas is seeking organizations that are committed to the enrichment and development of their local communities through the art of dance. Ballet Arkansas’ Professional Dance Company and staff members, working with local organizations, can develop exciting in-depth residencies tailored to fit the needs and meet the goals of local dance students and their teachers. They can choreograph for dance and musical theatre productions or they can simply teach dance technique classes for beginners through advanced dancers. Residencies range from one full day to a week or even a month, depending on community needs and Company availability. They can include Ballet Arkansas performances, master classes, lecture-demonstrations, juried auditions, and various other dance events.
